The international consortium APRU is now accepting applications for the SDG Education for Global Citizenship (SDG4GC).

The APRU SDG4GC is jointly developed by six major partner universities (Kyushu University, Chulalongkorn University, University of Malaya, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Simon Fraser University) in the international consortium APRU (Association of Pacific Rim Universities) and the UN, to study the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by exploring global issues from multiple perspectives, and propose solutions.

With experts in their fields as lecturers, the programme offers interactive lectures, a mentorship programme, teamwork with students from 60 APRU member universities, and an online UN Introduction to SDGs course. The program runs from 1 June – 30 August, with a field visit (20-28 Jul, fee required) to Thailand (Chulalongkorn University) or Malaysia (University of Malaya), including a community visit as part of the local program.

Applicants must be undergraduate or postgraduate students (master’s degree only) of the University, regardless of their department or major. For more information, please see the website below and the attached application form, and submit your application via the online form (in English) by Monday 26 February.
