On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Associate Professor Marco Morandotti from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, visited the Institute of Mathematics for Industry (IMI) and the Faculty of Mathematics.

Politecnico di Torino is the first Italian technical university to receive a high rating in the field of mathematics in the World University Rankings.

The purpose of his visit was to sign an academic agreement and to promote international collaboration in the future through discussing with Professor Kajiwara, Director of IMI, Professor Tsujii, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, and Associate Professor Cesana of IMI.

The visit and signing of the agreement have allowed us to consider the promotion of further international academic activities positively.
