We are pleased to announce the opening of the application process for the Faculty-level Partnership Student Exchange Program for Fall 2025. This program is available to students from the School of Science, Graduate School of Science, Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences, and Graduate School of Mathematics at Kyushu University.

*Please note that the schools you can apply to for the exchange vary by partner university and depend on the agreements we have concluded. For confirmation, please contact rixkokusai@jimu.kyushu-u.ac.jp.

Deadline for application materials:

May 1, Thursday, 2025 (Japan time)
*Applications must be submitted through your university office.

Required application materials:

1.Application form

2.Enrollment certificate issued by the home university

3.Official academic transcript issued by the home university

4.Letter of recommendation written by the academic advisor of the home university (a handwritten signature is preferable)

5.Photocopy of passport

6.(Only for Special Research Students) Any documents that prove your acceptance from the prospective supervisor at KU

How to apply:

1.Students who wish to apply for the student exchange program must go through the nomination process of their home university.

2.Nominated students must submit the application documents to their home university.

3.The home university compiles all application documents for nominated students and submits them to our office by the deadline via email.

4.After approval of students’ admission, our office sends the Certificate of Acceptance via email to their home university.

5.The International Student Exchange Division of Kyushu University will contact the students directly via email to introduce the online application system for the Certificate of Eligibility (CoE), dormitory information, and other related details about entering Japan.
