博士後期課程の学生を対象とした「第6回九州大学3MTコンテスト」についてお知らせします。

これは、スライドを1枚のみ使用し、自身の研究について英語で3分間のプレゼンテーションを行う国際コンテストです。学術研究、プレゼンテーション、および研究コミュニケーションのスキルを磨くことを目的としています。また、専門外の方にも理解できる形で研究内容を説明し、より多くの人々に研究を知ってもらうことも求められます。

・日時：2026年7月27日（月）14:15～16:00

・応募資格：九州大学博士後期課程在籍者（一貫制博士課程の場合は3-5年生）

YouTube（限定公開）での動画公開(People’s Choice審査)に同意していること

・申込締切（プレゼンテーションビデオ提出締切）：  2026年6月5日（金）

・賞（研究助成金および賞状を授与）：

最優秀賞：300,000円（研究助成金）

第2位：200,000円（研究助成金）

一般投票賞：100,000円（研究助成金）

・Briefing Session (イベント概要説明会)：2026年5月12日（火）12:10-13:00

Dear PhD/Doctoral students,

The International Affairs Department has informed you about the 6th Kyushu U 3MT Competition for PhD/Doctoral Students.

This is an international competition in which you give a three-minute presentation of your research in English, using only one slide. It aims to hone your academic research, presentation, and research communication skills. It also requires you to explain your research in a way that can be understood by a non-specialist audience, so that more people can learn about your research.

• Date: Monday, July 27, 2026 14:15 – 16:00
• Eligibility: Students enrolled in the doctoral program at Kyushu University (3rd-5th year for Integrated Doctoral Course)Applicants must agree to having the video published on YouTube (unlisted) for the People’s Choice review.
• Application deadline:  Friday, June 5, 2026
• Prizes (Research grants and certificates are awarded):

1st prize: 300,000 JPY (research grant)

2nd Prize: 200,000 JPY (research grant)

Public vote: 100,000 JPY (research grant)
